Passed peacefully away on Thursday, September 2,2010 at the Health Science
Center Philip J. Pendergast age 89 years. Born at Admirals Cove, Cape Broyle.
Phil lived in Deer Lake most of his life. Predeceased by parents John and
Veronica ( Finlay), eight sisters and one brother. Leaving to mourn his
sister Josephine Spurrell ( Jack- deceased) and many nieces, nephews and
extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s
Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road on Sunday , September 5th from 2 p m – 4 p m
and 7 p m – 9 p m . Funeral service 10:30 am on Monday, September 6, 2010
from Caul’s Chapel with inurnment to follow at Immaculate Conception
Cemetery, Cape Broyle. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart
and Stroke Foundation in memory of Phil.
