STRUGNELL, Charles H. –
(April 29, 1918 – August 31, 2010) – Passed peacefully away in the presence
of his family at the Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 92 years.
Predeceased by parents, Margaret and William, sisters Lillian Hayward, Annie
Vaters, Jessie Spurrell and Maude Miller; brothers James and Alfie Strugnell.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 36 years, Marie,
sisters Mary Furlong and Lucy Strugnell, step-sons Brian Gillett (Jill), and
Steven Gillett (Ramona), step-daughters Donna Gillett (Larry), Diane Coady
(Jon) and Darlene Nichols (Glen); ten grandchildren, James (his mom
Darlene), Angel, Adam, Nicole, Matthew, Stacey, Chelsey, Tyson, Austin and
Brent; also many nieces, nephews and friends, and residents of the Torbay
Kinsman Manor where he resided for nine months. Resting at Caul’s Funeral
Home, TORBAY. Visitation Thursday from 2 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Friday from 12
noon – 9 p.m. Funeral Service on Saturday, September 4th , at 2 p.m. from
All Saints Anglican Church, Pouch Cove. Interment to follow at All Saints
Anglican Cemetery, Pouch Cove. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in
his memory may be made to the All Saints Cemetery Fund, Pouch Cove.
